ROCHELLE DICKENSON, PROFESSOR, PARALEGAL

Rochelle Dickenson is a professor in the Paralegal Diploma Program at Mohawk College. She teaches Landlord Tenant Law, Tribunal Practice and Procedure, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has taught a wide array of other paralegal courses at both Mohawk College and private career colleges. Rochelle has an honours degree in Criminology with a minor in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Windsor. She has also completed graduate studies in Alternative Dispute Resolution at York University and worked as a mediator for a number of years.

Rochelle is a licensed RCIC with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, holds a P1 licence from the Law Society of Upper Canada, and is a member of The Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators. Rochelle currently sits on the Executive Committee at the College of Midwives of Ontario and also Chairs their Investigations and Complaints Committee. She is a former Refugee Protection Officer with the Immigration and Refugee Board, former Diversion Program Coordinator, and worked for the Federal Courts for over 10 years.
