Justin Quaidoo is a Firefighter for Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services. He works out of Station 105 in Malton. Justin and his Team just don’t put out fires, but respond to any and all emergencies that arise, at times putting their life on the line to save another. Justin has combined Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical experience.

Justin Quaidoo is also an active member of the Canadian Armed Forces, with 32 Combat Engineer Regiment as a Squadron Sergeant Major. His current rank of Master Warrant Officer (MWO) is one of immense responsibility and leadership. MWO Justin Quaidoo is a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Recipient. He was awarded the USA Army Commendation Medal, for excellent performance in Afghanistan. He was 32 Brigade Group Senior Non Commission Officer of the Year in 2012 for exemplary achievements. He received the Canadian Expeditionary Force Command Accommodation for excellent performance in Afghanistan, twice.

He has three tours of duty:

1) Afghanistan Nov 2010 – Oct 2011

2) Afghanistan Sept. 2008 – Apr 2009

3) Bosnia Jan – Jul 1999

Justin Quaidoo was born in Takoradi Ghana, Africa. He left Ghana with the rest of his family to Canada when he was 7 years old. Justin crew up in Edmonton Alberta, until the military took him away to see the world. He has always had a sense of duty and honour. Justin often takes time to mentor young black youths on utilizing life experience and education to develop leadership skills, and to create their own opportunities in life.
