My name is Trevor Mair, I am seventy six years old and I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. I retired from private dental practice in Toronto, about 4 years ago.

At the start of my academic life, I received a scholarship from the Govt. of Jamaica to study Dentistry at McGill University in Montreal. I graduated in 1964 and entered a post-graduate programme for an additional year.

I returned to Jamaica in 1965 and joined the Govt. of Jamaica Health Service. In 1968, I was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue post-graduate Oral Surgery studies in London, England. After successful completion of this programme in 1970, I returned to Jamaica and assumed the  responsibility of being in-charge of this dept. at the Kingston Public Hospital.

I am married with a wife and two children, and I have two grand-children: one boy and one girl, ages 17 and 19 respectively.
