Hyacinth Brown-Smith is a successful entrepreneur as CEO and founder of Hy Notes Music Academy. Her successful achievements include ARCT (Associate, Royal Conservatory of Music Toronto) certificate programs.

She has been teaching music for over 40 years. Her love for people both young and old, has catapulted her into tapping into this universal language of all mankind called “music” She did her undergraduate work at York University under the faculty of Science and Engineering, with a major in Math. She currently has completed her diploma in Theology and is currently studying for her undergrad degree in Theology at C.A.B.S. (Cornerstone Applicable Biblical Studies).
 
Throughout her studies and business practices she has earned numerous accomplishments, such as composing her hit single “He Will Make A Way”, not to forget her senior years of high school where she made history by playing for the Prime Minister of Canada at the Chateau Laurier Hotel in Ottawa Canada.  
 
As a talented classical pianist, gospel musician, speaker and preacher, her gifts have allowed her to be sought after to play, perform and minister in Canada, Unites States, The Caribbean and abroad. She is a believer that you can accomplish your dreams with commitment and hard work.
 
Hyacinth Brown-Smith serves in various capacities as a mother, wife, entrepreneur, writer, composer, promoter, public relation, counsellor and Pastor. In 2020 after accepting the call she became the Pastor for Grace Deliverance Apostolic Ministries. She enjoys serving and encouraging excellence and optimism both natural and spiritual into the lives of her family, church members, community and all that she comes in contact with.
 
This travelling pastor currently sits as the prayer chaplain for Mid-West Region of the IWMA (International Women’s Ministry Auxiliary) and the former President of the MCWA, (Missionary Christian Women Auxiliary) for the Canada District Council, P.A.W. (Pentecostal Assemblies of the World). Hyacinth Brown-Smith’s captivating and energetic style draws people to her that provides excellence, inspiration, empowerment, and spiritual encouragement wherever she goes.

Hyacinth Brown-Smith is married to a wonderful man Elder Derron A Smith in 2018 and together they have 7 children Richard, Diondra, Marvet, Angelique, Cieanna, Rijon, Davein and 7 grandchildren.
