Chris Campbell migrated to Canada 1987 where he soon joined the Carpenters Union in 1989. He attended George Brown College for his in class apprenticeship training. He completed his Carpentry apprenticeship in 1994 (C of Q) He has since worked on several major projects including condominiums, airports, hospitals, power plants, refineries, office towers, institutions, and bridges. He has been a construction site supervisor and a Carpentry apprenticeship instructor Currently Chris is one of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters representatives in Scarborough, Markham, Stouffville, Ajax and Pickering. This assignment involves resolving labour related issues between management an workers on the job site or at the Ontario labour Relation Board, organize non-union companies and negotiate collective agreement.
