MICHAEL CAMMOCK, TEACHER
Dr. Laurel Williams-Cammock was born in Mandeville, Manchester Jamaica. Laurel attended Manchester High School then completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus in Kingston, Jamaica. After a short career in teaching and research, Laurel was awarded the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to pursue the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Prince Edward Island, in Charlottetown, PEI Canada.
Laurel graduated from veterinary medical school in 2000 and has been in small animal veterinary medicine since graduation. She practiced in Jamaica with the Jamaica Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, in the US before returning to Canada, where she is currently engaged in small animal clinical practice.
Laurel’s hobbies are reading, listening to gospel music (favourite artistes: Alvin Slaughter and Ron Kenoly) and interests are traveling, fitness and health.
