T’kehya Prentice-Cupid is the founder of TK Natural Hair Wigs. Our company creates wigs and extensions that are made to resemble naturally curly and kinky hair. After quitting her job in February 2016 to pursue her creative passions full-time, TK Natural Hair Wigs was born. The name is inspired by T’kehya’s love and slight obsession for natural hair.

T’kehya first taught herself how to style and care for natural hair in elementary school. Through trial and error her skills have developed overtime. These passions have helped shape her vision for a company that caters to naturally textured hair. Her wigs and extensions give ladies with kinks and curls, protective styling options that are easy to blend, and don’t require them to damage their strands in the process.

In order to spread awareness about her business, she started fundraising for causes that support women with cancer and alopecia. After many failed attempts to connect with different organizations, she decided to start her own fundraising initiative. As a result, TK Natural Hair Wigs now reserves 20% of sales to sponsor wigs for women with cancer and alopecia. She hopes that this initiative will expand in the future to accommodate more causes.

T’kehya’s dream is that her extensions will help customers embrace their natural selves. She desires for her customers to feel confident, exuberant, and beautiful while wearing her wigs and extensions.
